Director, CMC Development and Strategy

Intira Coowanitwong, Ph.D. joined Transpire Bio as Director, CMC Development and Strategy. She is responsible for providing strategic oversight on specific CMC topics, introducing new concepts, products, equipment, processes, and technologies to develop new applications, implementing training programs for analytical or manufacturing activities, and evaluating and writing documents to support regulatory submissions.

Prior to joining Transpire Bio, Intira served as Quality Assessment Lead (QAL) and Application Technical Lead (ATL) at the Office of Pharmaceutical Quality (OPQ) at the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for approximately 9 years, worked as Scientist/Project Manager at Next Breath LLC for 6 years, and worked as a Formulation Group Leader at Chrysalis Technologies for approximately 4 years.

Intira received her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Florida. She has numerous publications in peer reviewed journals and received several awards at the USFDA to recognize her exemplary contributions to regulatory reviews.
