Jie Wang Ph.D. is Transpire Bio’s Senior Principal Scientist. She is responsible for analytical and technical development. These activities include establishment of the Quality Target Product Profile, defining robust methods for analytical control strategies, inhalation combination products application submission and product quality control.
Her career started as an analytical scientist in the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), the Chinese equivilent to the FDA. She had served 15 years at NMPA in analytical method development, setting drug specification, license application document review and comments. After a postdoctoral fellowship at University of Florida, Dr. Wang has been working in global pharmaceutical companies such as GSK and Lupin for 12 years in the analytical area of inhalation, solid and liquid products.
