Device Engineering Director

Jianye Wang Ph.D. is Transpire Bio’s Device Engineering Director, responsible for leading the development of respiratory drug delivery devices and novel aerosol technologies. Starting as a materials scientist, Dr. Wang has worked across a breadth of industries including energy sector, printing technologies and medical devices. With a passion converting applied science into healthcare related products, he has led the development of several advanced aerosol mechanisms and the enclosed inhalation drug delivery devices (DPI, SMI and nebulizers). Beyond that he also has extensive experiences in the design and development of other medical devices like implants, surgical instruments, IVD and other PoC devices.
