Responsibilities for Warehouse Technician
• Lead and/or participate in lab supplies warehousing and distribution activities to include office/lab consumables, lab equipment, manufacturing equipment, product manufacturing materials and finished product storage and shipping
• Document receipt and shipment of materials, records and reports temperature monitoring devices as required by appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain inventory records. Participate in inventory verification (annual or on demand) for all inventoried material, particularly active pharmaceutical ingredients, components, excipients, reference standards and manufactured products
• Prepares, reviews and adheres to all required SOPs, policies and regulations
• Performs shipping & receiving, unloads & loads trucks, checks in & out materials and stores in appropriate location(s)
• Works with lab/manufacturing/operations personnel to adjust local stock requirements for business requirements
• Interacts with lab and manufacturing personnel to gather information in regards to material needs on daily or weekly basis
• Prepares materials for shipping on an individual box or pallet size with the appropriate temperature and monitoring requirements
Qualifications for Warehouse Technician
• Ability to ensure work related responsibilities are completed accurately and timely
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality while working with highly sensitive information
• Minimum 2 Years’ experience with project materials and materials management systems on very large projects
• Proficiency in Computer systems required
• Proficiency in both written and verbal communication required
